Day 7
Saturday
18 Nov 06'

Leong Ying Yi 梁颖宜 :
During our visit to the Shanghai Museum, we saw chinese calligraphies, pottery, oldern clothings and coins used during different dynasties. At the end of this trip, I believed that everyone had learnt some Chinese traditions, customs and cultures.

After which, we went to the urban planning centre, where each of us was given a piece of worksheet to complete, regarding the growth and competition between Shanghai and Singapore. Through this programme, I presumed that everyone was able to make a comparison and deduce an answer.

After a long walk under the drizzle, we arrived at the 7-storey, gigantic Shanghai Bookstore. There, one can find books of different sections, Chinese paintings, comics, as well as song albums where most were attracted to. After which, we were dismissed and from there, my buddy took me to the famous Nanjing Rd, we shopped, etc. I hoped that the rest of the team mates enjoyed themselves and learnt something new.

Timothy Chan Zhi Xin 陈智信:
6 days have passed and today is the 7th day. Today we went to the Shanghai Museum. It was filled with ancient ornaments. Somehow everything there seems to arouse my interest. Some ancient ornaments date back to the 10th century BC!!!
Later we went to the Urban Planning Centre. Some things there like the virtual world for example, looks very futuristic. The airport display is the most amazing to me as the airport can contain 60 million passengers few years later.
